Outcome of the plenary of the 5th of December in Vienna
The drafting members met on the 6th and 7th of December to discuss the draft document of milestone 2 which describes the proposal for different attestations methodologies that could be used for the CSP Certification scheme.
On the 6th of December, the Co-chair Borja Larrumbide, made a presentation describing the challenges financial service users usually encounter when using a Cloud Service Provider and how to overcome them. The certification of CSP is a feasible method that could reduce some of the challenges that end-users have. Also a brief overview of the CSP Certification Stakeholder group, goals, compositions, timeline and overview of the milestone 1 was provided. The presentation can be found in this link. Following the presentation a Q&A took place with Co-Chair Helmut Fallmann, Leire Oreu-Echevarria and Borja Larrumbide.
